Hi friends,
During a recent web search for John Peacock, i was very excited to discover a new publication of his titled, "Buddhism, A Complete Introduction"....Sadly, it appears the publication was cancelled.

I thought I'd write him and inquire whether he is continuing to pursue publication — however, after scouring the web, I can't find an email address for him. I've looked over at Oxford Mindfulness Centre (www.oxfordmindfulness.org) and the University of Oxford.

Does anyone have an addy for him?

Ted, if you can't share contact infor for John, can you pass along my inquiry?

thanks,
andy

That is disappointing. Ted or someone else here may have an email he can send you, or one that may be public somewhere.

Hey, Archie, that is bad news. Do you know who was supposed to be publishing it? Or whether the manuscript was complete? Peacock also said he was working on a translation of the Sutta Nipata -- I hope that work is proceeding well.

John isn't available to post this directly, but did ask me to let you know --

"'Cancelled' is rather dramatic! It is just that I am extremely late in delivering the manuscript to the publishers - all of the teaching I have been doing rather detracts from my writing.

"The Sutta Nipata translation is coming along and I am in the process of translating the Atthakavagga at the present time."
