    You can call it the hara, or the second chakra, or the lower dandien, or the lumbar neural plexus. Contemplative traditions across time and cultures have recognized the significance of focusing attention on the sensations in the lower abdomen. What does it mean to “go with your gut?” Can the information processed by the dense concentration of neurons here be available to our conscious awareness?
