Would you consider doing a few videos that are based on some previously written lessons? For example, the Thanissaro page at Access to Insight has several ‘bite size’ topics of a few pages each. A video with your thoughts on a text would help with learning and retention. I don’t see the videos as a substitute for reading a text. Thanks!

btw – I am not focused on Thanissaro so another author/site of your choosing would be fine. http://www.accesstoinsight.org/lib/authors/thanissaro/

Thanks very much for your comment, 222fbj. I agree that that might be an interesting format. My only concern is that the discussion should be self-contained, in that one shouldn’t have to read a text before being able to understand the material in the video. Otherwise one is prone to confuse a large part of the audience. But if it’s done right, using a text as a jumping-off point might be good, and something to keep in mind. I also may discuss particular suttas at some point, again if it can be done in a way that isn’t too confusing for those not prone to pick up a text.
