One Way the Dharma Can Bite Us
If we misuse the dharma it can come back to bite us: this is the upshot of one famous sutta. We will look at this sutta and consider some of its implications for our approach to the Buddha’s teachings both online and in person.
Suttas discussed in this video:
Doug, are your most recent secular dharma pieces no longer posted here? I can’t see to find them
Hi Michael,
Yes they are all here, or at least should be, under the videos section. I can see them.
Found them! But only by going to secularbuddhism.org without extensions. I’d bookmarked the “articles” page, and if one starts there, I don’t think you can navigate back home to your articles. Or maybe I’m just more luddite than I know….
Hi, Michael. What browser are you using? This is the first time I’ve heard the main home page doesn’t show up with all the display Doug mentioned, it should all be there on all browsers. Thanks!
Ted — Problem solved. I’m just incredibly dense. Never occurred to me click on the SB graphic at top of the page, rather than the menu items below, to get to the home page — until forced to use my brain — be mindful?? – by assurances from you and Doug that I could go home again. Seems I inadvertently switched the bookmark I used from home page to “articles” and got myself confused.
Thanks for the help.
Glad you got that solved. But also glad you raised the question, because I realized that I’d actually mis-catalogued the video on which these comments appears. It should be under “videos” not “articles”. Fixed now!
Ah! So glad that worked out, Michael, thanks for letting us know!
