    Hi Mark,

    I have couple of questions,

    There is a 20 min sit, a body scan meditation by and a loving kindness meditation (ignoring the 10 min sit) in the guided meditation page.

    As a beginner (unable to sit more than 30 mins) can these be alternated such 20 min sit for two days followed by loving kindness one day? In which sequence are they to be used.

    Can they be compounded when I have enough practice and stamina to sit longer? 20 min sit followed by loving kindness? Can the 20 min sit be extended by to 40 mins or doing it twice in a day for total of 40 mins.

    Hi, Arjit! I’m glad you’re using the guided meditations. For the most part, I try not to tax the user’s stamina too much, knowing that many people have difficulty sitting for longer periods. I don’t see any reason why you couldn’t repeat one or mix them up as your fancy strikes you. Doing the 20 minute sit followed by loving kindness would be a good pairing. The other alternative would be to check out sites like dharmaseed.org that have guided meditations of every conceivable type and length and find something that works for you.
