Hello to everyone!

My name is James and I live in Boulder, CO. The short version of my life story is that I'm married with three kids and currently work retail (difficult customers can be wonderful teachers!). 

I have been interested in Buddhism for a while and even started out "on the path" a few times previously, but always found some reason (or some excuse) to fall away from it. Yet, I kept returning. One of the things that I have always found missing was a sangha, or community wherein I felt comfortable. It seems as though every place I found felt too much like church and thus made me uncomfortable, however, I recognize the importance of a community of fellow Buddhists and have continued my search. In the time of COVID, it does make "sangha shopping" difficult, so I am very grateful to have found this site.
